Session Description: Now that the decision has been made on P25 Phase II technology, should you care? This decision has a huge impact on the future of critical communications and the agencies that rely on those systems. Furthermore, agencies have to decide whether they should migrate from legacy systems directly to P25 Phase II, or will Phase I suit their needs for the immediate future? Only through education about the subject will an agency make the right choice regarding the P25 Phase II technologies.

Speaker Bio: Paul May is a Business Development Manager for Harris RF Communications, based out of Lynchburg, VA. Paul has over 18 years experience in the marketing, product management and engineering of products for the Land Mobile Radio Industry. For the past several years, Paul has been concentrating on leading the marketing efforts and launching Harris' Project 25 systems business. Prior to that, Paul has held Technical Marketing, Product Management and Engineering positions for the M/A-Com/Ericsson/GE LMR businesses. Paul is a graduate of Clarkson University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering.
