Session Description: This presentation, using both personal experiences and published research, will outline how cumulative encounters with critical incidents in Public Safety Communications environment can have both a negative or positive impact on both the personal and the organization as a whole. Research has shown that the manner in which an organization approaches critical incidents has an impact on staff morale, retention and staff commitment.
